Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Cambridge Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to create healthier communities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce radiation exposure.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient satisfaction.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
- Experience in MSK imaging is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and radiologists.
