We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Diagnostic Imaging Clerk to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Diagnostic Imaging department, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support to the Diagnostic Imaging team, including patient registration, scheduling, and requisition management.
- Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments and accurate patient information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and support.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and retrieval of patient records.
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases.
Requirements:
- Community College Diploma in Medical Office Administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Diagnostic Imaging or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
