Cybersecurity Analyst

The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of G+D Canada's information systems and data. This position requires a strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company requirements.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of company systems and data, including the implementation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, and develop plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide security awareness training and education to employees, and ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the security of company systems and data.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend new security measures and procedures as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in security risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other security professionals.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports and recommendations.
This position requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response, and will be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on ensuring the security and integrity of G+D Canada's information systems and data. This position requires a strong commitment to security and a willingness to stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies.
