About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SME Pizza Ontario Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
    • Manage our inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our customers.
    • Prepare and manage our budgets and financial reports, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
    • Monitor and maintain our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and lift heavy objects.
