Position Overview

As a Logistics Operations Supervisor at HIGH WEST TRANSPORTATION LTD., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational logistics of our organization. Your leadership will ensure that our transportation services run smoothly and efficiently.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

This position is set within the transportation sector, where you will collaborate with various departments to enhance our operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across different work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to management.
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and recommending strategies to boost productivity and quality.
  • Oversee the recruitment and hiring processes for new staff.
  • Facilitate training for employees on their roles and company policies.
  • Organize and arrange training sessions for staff development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to assess employee progress.
  • Assign, review, and coordinate work tasks among team members.
  • Manage requisitions for materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize operations.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the logistical operations of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Work Conditions

This role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure, ensuring that all logistics operations are executed efficiently.

Required Equipment

Employees are expected to provide their own steel-toed safety boots for workplace safety.
