Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Attendant to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our residence team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents while providing exceptional support and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiates and documents calls as per policy to replace staff unable to work
- Ensures security and responds to resident calls
- Maintains cleanliness of common areas
- Demonstrates familiarity with emergency plans
- Communicates effectively within the residence
- Handles matters confidentially
- Committed to excellence in service
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Graduate
- Formal training with senior clientele
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Positive self-projection
- Excellent human relations skills
Skills:
- Knowledge in security systems and procedures
- First Aid certification
- Experience in housekeeping and janitorial functions
- Ability to prioritize and offer assistance
- Strong problem-solving skills
