Job Summary

The System Development Manager of Hardware Engineering is a leadership position responsible for providing support and leading a team through server development execution. This role involves managing and developing a team of engineers and TPMs based in Morrisville, empowering them to design and support Lenovo platforms throughout the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee hardware product development through the entire life cycle
  • Work with the team to develop schedules, budgets, resource plans, critical deliverables, and other support requirements for assigned projects
  • Drive decisions and ensure standardized product development processes are followed
  • Work closely with operations, manufacturing, testing, FW, and common teams
  • Develop team technical skills as part of continual growth
  • Identify mentorship opportunities and coordinate training and professional development for your team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience effectively communicating program plans, proposals, and results, as well as negotiating options at senior management levels
  • Previous experience leading a team of engineers and acting as a technical contributor in design reviews and decisions
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • ~2+ years of management experience
  • ~Deep knowledge in one or more technical topics
