About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFA Foundations Drill Rig Operator to join our team at Hall Constructors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drill rigs, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of drill rigs to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with our site supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily logs, maintenance records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) foundation and shoring drilling activities.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, including site utility and underground utility.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ground disturbance certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with operating equipment and a strong understanding of capabilities.
  • Knowledge of ground disturbance, ground stabilization, and underground and overhead utilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
