Hall Constructors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead our foundation drilling and shoring operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing overall project schedules and costs, allocating resources, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules and costs, allocating resources across disciplines and responding proactively to challenges.
  • Identify and address cost drivers, focusing on production and work improvement to maximize profit.
  • Incorporate knowledge of discipline and train others to ensure expertise across the team.
  • Leverage subcontractor and supplier relationships to increase bidding opportunities.
  • Manage and motivate crews to achieve project goals.
  • Recognize and mitigate risks in contracts, technical specifications, and operations.
  • Think creatively and provide solutions to the team.

Requirements:

  • Foundation piling/drilling/CFA experience is required.
  • Minimum years of experience in a similar role.
  • Grade 12 with diploma – post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license, first aid, and ground disturbance level 2 designations are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Foundation drilling or piling experience.
  • Safety training.
  • Engineering training.
  • Managerial or leadership training.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Coordinate knowledge across segments or areas in a project.
  • Recognize gaps in knowledge on a project and consult with subject matter experts.
  • Set expectations for the company and lead day-to-day operations.
  • Understand project direction and client requirements before planning execution.
  • Create positive client relations through collaboration and cooperation.
  • Available to company operations and clients in a timely manner.
  • Listen and address concerns of the crew.
  • Site safety awareness and knowledge of when to intervene.
  • Regular and clear communication with project teams and office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance documentation and data for projects are up to date.
  • Equipment and safety records are scheduled and organized.
  • Conflict management awareness with multiple personality types.
