About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFA Foundations Drill Rig Operator to join our team at Hall Constructors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drill rigs, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of drill rigs to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily logs, maintenance records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in CFA foundation and shoring drilling activities.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, including CFA piling and displacement piling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ground disturbance certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with operating heavy equipment, including drill rigs and other construction machinery.
  • Knowledge of construction software and technology, including project management tools and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
