Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote (with occasional travel)


The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for orchestrating, developing, and executing business initiatives that necessitate IT solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. This role will specifically target projects related to infrastructure implementations, application integrations, and Enterprise Service Management, while ensuring compliance with the established processes and frameworks dictated by the PMO. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the IT department, steering committees, business partners, vendors, consultants, and other essential stakeholders to guarantee strict adherence to budgetary and project timelines, ensuring that all business requirements are met to the satisfaction of the project sponsor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass resources, issue identification, resolution strategies, communication protocols, risk management, and status updates.
  • Ensure clarity and completeness of business requirements.
  • Outline all project deliverables, including scope, objectives, milestones, key success indicators, and necessary changes.
  • Create project documentation that includes scope, stakeholder lists, schedules, charters, budgets, risks, mandatory documents, missions, goals, tasks, and resource allocations.
  • Lead projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project change requests as necessary and address project issues/conflicts, escalating when required.
  • Establish project success criteria and communicate them to all involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and submit budget proposals and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • In collaboration with resource managers, provide guidance and feedback on the execution of project tasks assigned to team members.
  • Ensure all operational support requirements are fulfilled and delivered.
  • Facilitate vendor discussions and negotiations for low-risk procurements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Prepare project closure documentation and lead project closure meetings.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in project management, with at least 2 years focused on delivering IT solutions, particularly in infrastructure deployment, application integration, and Enterprise Service Management.
  • Proficient in creating tools and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle.
  • In-depth knowledge of current IT trends.
