Job Title: Veeva Solution Lead

At Astellas Pharma Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Veeva Solution Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of Veeva solutions to drive business process improvements and digital enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business process improvements using Veeva solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features and user stories that align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance, ensuring agile principles are adhered to across teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison between agile teams and external stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and achievements effectively.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align agile team efforts with long-term business objectives, contributing to the product roadmap and release planning.
  • Lead retrospectives and other continuous improvement efforts to analyze team processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
  • Proactively identify and address risks that could impact the delivery of value, working with teams and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value delivery, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction, using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Business process understanding, including knowledge of Clinical/Regulatory Affairs operations and how Vault Clinical/Regulatory supports these processes.
  • Proven experience in specific end-to-end business processes and Enterprise Platform Solutions that digitally enable and empower business processes.
  • Excellent project management abilities, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with business to define Epics/user stories/features, conducting impact analysis, and presenting technical solutions based on business requirements.
  • Able to support technical upgrades, conduct technical impact assessments, address technical issues, and maintain and report any issues to stakeholders.
  • Lead without authority and be an escalation point for customer issues, with knowledge of support processes - Incident Management, Problem Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience with Veeva Vault Clinical/Regulatory.
  • Agile Champion: Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
