Flex Academy is an innovative JK-12 educational institution that embraces a Christ-centered approach to learning. Our mission is to merge traditional classroom experiences with the flexibility of online resources, creating a dynamic hybrid educational model.

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1.0 FTE Kindergarten Foundations Teacher to fulfill a maternity leave position. This role is essential in fostering the academic, spiritual, and social-emotional development of our students through a personalized educational framework.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality instruction that promotes both academic and spiritual growth.
  • Planning, teaching, assessing, and reporting while ensuring effective classroom management.
  • Collaborating with various departments as needed.
  • Organizing field trips and participating in school meetings, including those with parents.
  • Maintaining open communication with students, families, and staff.
  • Actively engaging as a member of the staff team.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A demonstrated commitment to KCCS Foundational Beliefs.
  • Certification as a BC Teacher.
  • The ability to adapt to changing workloads in a start-up environment.
