The Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Permanent Full-time HR Business Consultant in Calgary or Edmonton. This role provides a unique chance to work within an entrepreneurial setting, gaining invaluable consulting experience across various sectors.

Although the position is based in Calgary or Edmonton, support will be needed throughout Alberta and Canada. This role is particularly suited for an HR professional with 3-5 years of Generalist experience, as the client work will involve strategic HR planning, organizational structuring, talent acquisition, employee engagement strategies, employee relations, policy formulation, compensation and benefits management, talent development, and training initiatives.

Qualifications and Work Environment

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of progressive HR experience and thrive in a dynamic and adaptable work environment. You should enjoy fostering long-term collaborative relationships, have strong teamwork skills, and be a self-motivated individual who is committed to driving initiatives to successful completion.

A post-secondary degree in Human Resources and a CPHR designation (or progress towards it) is preferred but not mandatory.

This role will involve a mix of remote and on-site client engagements, with travel requirements of approximately 10-15% based on client needs and workload. Access to reliable transportation and a willingness to maintain a flexible schedule are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

For our permanent full-time employees, we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes:

  • Salary range of $65,000-$80,000 (negotiable based on experience) + Commission + Incentive Structure
