Tirecraft is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician Trainee to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting licensed technicians in the diagnosis and repair of automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed technicians in the diagnosis and repair of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Inspect and test mechanical components to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
- Work closely with service advisors to obtain work orders and customer service requirements.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn and develop skills in automotive repair and maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
- Previous experience with tires (installation and repairs).
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Strong communication skills.
