Job Summary

CSN Collision is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately.
  • Repair and replace damaged mechanical components, such as suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, heating and cooling systems, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Interpret technical manuals and specifications to execute repairs effectively.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment by sharing knowledge and assisting team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification from a recognized automotive technical program or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Tactful, clear, and empathetic communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to manage relationships in a collaborative manner, with a wide range of stakeholder groups and personality types, applying diplomacy to reach win-win resolutions.
  • Frames discussions positively, takes action to resolve conflict, while minimizing tension.
