Automotive Service Technician Apprentice

About the Role

Tirecraft is a proudly Canadian-owned and operated company with a strong commitment to excellence in the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with licensed Automotive Service Technicians to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Assist in inspecting and testing mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, and brake systems, to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups, to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and customer service requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum completion of 2nd year 310S apprenticeship program.
  • Previous experience in automotive repairs and service.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
