Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This entry-level position involves supporting the development of comprehensive electrical designs and schematics that adhere to technical specifications and client needs. You will play a vital role in our design process, working alongside engineers and other professionals to transform concepts into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and preparation of engineering designs and drawings based on initial concepts and sketches.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and drafting tools.
  • Compile construction specifications, cost estimates, material lists, project timelines, and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure precision and compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct site evaluations and engage in fieldwork as necessary.
  • Be prepared to travel within the region, including visits to remote areas, as part of project obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Progress towards obtaining a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license, with relevant engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A quick learner who can excel in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal oversight is highly valued.
  • Possession of a valid G Driver's License in Ontario is required.
