Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

KUBRA is in search of a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to become a vital member of their Information Security division. This position focuses on improving and verifying the compliance, integrity, and security of KUBRA's technological systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the security framework, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, SIEM, File Integrity Monitoring, and servers.
  • Continuously monitor systems and software to proactively address emerging security threats.
  • Engage in security investigations and provide support during Incident Response and Recovery efforts.
  • Uphold and implement KUBRA's IT management control framework.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address Security Incidents as they arise.
  • Utilize knowledge of the operational environment to collaborate with internal or external stakeholders for the implementation or enhancement of specific SIEM use cases.
  • Maintain the vulnerability security digest and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track threat intelligence feeds and deliver regular updates on potential threats.
  • Conduct access control assessments on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist in remediation efforts related to audits and penetration testing.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for exemption requests in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and effectively differentiate relevant logs and security events.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with efficiency.
  • Plan and oversee complex security initiatives while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, along with relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC. A background of 1-2 years in a Security Operations role is preferred, along with experience in Cloud-based services (AWS/Azure) and designing information security solutions.
