About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with regular in-office days. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing assortment plans to maximize sales and profit across multiple store locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic assortment plans to allocate products based on demand and market trends.
  • Identify geographic and market trends through statistical analysis, market visits, and competitor research.
  • Analyze product performance data to identify missed opportunities and optimize inventory levels.

In-Season Management

  • Review weekly performance data with the buying team to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Create and maintain size profiles for each store to optimize inventory levels.
  • Monitor sales and sizing trends to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as apparel, merchandising, or finance.
  • Strong computer skills and intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Experience in replenishment, allocations, merchandising, or retail fashion store management.
  • Knowledge of the retail fashion industry or sports environment is a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of retail math and critical thinking skills.
