We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Officer to join our Community Experiences and Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing, communications, and partnership initiatives that drive engagement and growth.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will support the Manager, Community Experiences and Partnerships, in planning, creating, and executing marketing and communications strategies that reach, convert, and retain audiences. You will be responsible for developing and implementing execution plans, brand activations, and innovative event experiences that showcase our brand and values.
Key Responsibilities- Develop an annual strategy for outreach activities and partnerships
- Plan and implement execution plans, brand activations, and event experiences
- Negotiate, draft, and monitor related agreements
- Coordinate event calendars and production schedules
- Manage budgets and coordinate logistics
- Guide programming and technical teams in developing specials and remotes
- Advise other departments on best practices for greeting the public
- Execute activities and oversee ambassador services
- Develop media, promotional visibility, and content development plans
- Measure performance and optimize results
- Graduation from university or community college with a degree, diploma, or certificate in marketing or communications
- Five or more years of experience in communications, promotion, or marketing
