About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Sam-Jeong Employment Services Ltd. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in a child care centre setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Health and Safety: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Environment Preparation: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Work Setting: Child care centre
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Language of Work: English
