Job Title: Educational Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Educational Counsellor to join our team at Maple Hill School.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate educational, career, and personal issues. This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week, with a focus on delivering exceptional student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, addressing educational, career, and personal concerns.
  • Develop and implement guidance and counselling programs to support student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community agencies to ensure a comprehensive support network for students.
  • Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students and their families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
