Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their educational and career paths. This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our students and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their educational goals.
  • Counsel students on educational, career, and vocational issues, as well as personal and social matters.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to ensure a comprehensive support system for our students.
  • Develop and implement guidance and counselling programs to meet the needs of our students.
  • Represent Maple Hill School at educational conferences and workshops, promoting our institution and building relationships with other educational institutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and the community.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
