About the Role

Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Consultant to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured change management approach to ensure organizational readiness for change and maximize employee engagement.
  • Work closely with the PMO to manage a project change management program and integrate change management with project delivery.
  • Be the subject matter expert on change management, enabling Business Transformation projects to achieve expected outcomes and increase the probability of realizing benefits from significant capital investments.
  • Accountable for the continued development and implementation of an organizational change management program.
  • Provide change management support, advice, and assistance on corporate-wide efforts to effect cultural changes relative to developing management's change leadership capabilities.
Requirements
  • University degree (Undergraduate or Masters) with a focus in Public Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible general management and/or previous project management experience, specifically projects that have brought about significant change to an organization.
  • A Change Management professional certification is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience managing project resources based on priority, capability, and capacity to deliver change management and business objectives.

Work Status and Location
