About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at The Real Estate Centre Inc. as a key member of our financial operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 accounting professionals.
    • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge
    • Proficient in financial software applications, including Caseware/Caseview, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Word, Quick Books, and Simply Accounting.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management.
  • College/CEGEP degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
