Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Redi-Plumbing Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Operations: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Supervision: Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software, including MS Access, MS Excel, and QuickBooks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The position requires excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Language:

The working language is English.

Work Hours:

40 to 44 hours bi-weekly.
