Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.

  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
  • Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
  • Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
