We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pastry Chef to join our team at 2769152 Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in baking and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
This position is set in a restaurant environment, where creativity and quality are paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough for various baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, following established recipes or specific customer requests.
- Bake a variety of doughs and batters to perfection.
- Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods to enhance customer experience.
Supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
