Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
