Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically capable individual to join our team at Coast Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. as a Truck and Trailer Assistant. This role involves providing support to our tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with tasks and projects as directed
  • Move tools, equipment, and materials as needed
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment
  • Working a regular 35-40 hour week with occasional overtime as needed
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment provided
  • Work language: English
