Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Pizza Town and Indian Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
- Client Focus: Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to effectively train and lead team members.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Organized: Ability to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
