About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Charlie Hamiltons Pub. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Ensure that all food and supplies are stored and handled in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
