Special Education Teacher for Individuals with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Autism Support Network. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to develop life skills and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, and experience in special education is an asset.
- Work Setting: This is a temporary position, and you will work in the employer's/client's home.
- Tasks:
- Assist students to develop life skills, such as daily living skills, social skills, and communication skills.
- Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on the special needs of the client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives.
- Work with the client and their family to identify goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Language and Hours: English is the primary language used in this role, and the work hours are flexible, ranging from 2 to 20 hours per week.
