Special Education Teacher for Individuals with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at the Autism Support Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to develop life skills and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students to develop life skills, including daily living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans based on the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive approach to education and intervention.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This is a temporary position, working 2 to 20 hours per week. The work setting is in the employer's/client's home, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
