A Sales Development Executive will flourish in a flexible and diverse setting, propelling the success we are realizing. This role is pivotal in initiating new outbound sales opportunities, concentrating on establishing first contact, generating interest, and qualifying leads by showcasing how aerial imaging can enhance work processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads to construct a robust pipeline of potential customers.
  • Skilled in pinpointing key decision-makers within prospect organizations to uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Map essential stakeholders, technical requirements, and business processes for all deals.
  • Engage in high-volume prospecting of new business opportunities using cold calling, digital outreach, and online prospecting techniques, including Account Based Marketing strategies.
  • Exhibit success in a solutions-based selling approach and adeptly handle common objections.
  • Drive further revenue opportunities by implementing incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management.
  • Schedule appointments for qualified opportunities with the appropriate sales representative for closure.
  • Manage database efficiently and promptly.
  • Oversee a database of leads in Salesforce.
  • Ensure critical data points are enriched for the analysis of mid-market and strategic account management performance (annual revenue, total employees, SIC code, and description).
  • Effectively process all opportunities, tracking, reporting, and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline.
  • Adhere to Nearmap values, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with all local statutory requirements.
  • Comply with responsibilities associated with working for a public company.
  • Follow all local legislative requirements.
  • Uphold company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Stay informed about legislative requirements where applicable.
  • Act ethically when managing company assets and interacting with others.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of prior experience in lead generation, business development, inside sales, or account management.
  • Proven success in meeting quotas or KPI/KSO targets with a demonstrated track record.
  • Experience in hunting and prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Prior experience making high-volume outbound calls.
  • Sales experience in SaaS, particularly in renewals or subscription sales models.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Strong business acumen and previous experience in accurately forecasting and reporting on territory/account activity.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a structured, disciplined sales environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Positive and energetic demeanor.
