Position OverviewExro Technologies Inc. is excited to present a unique opportunity for a Program Manager within our Engineering division. This role involves collaborating with a team of experts dedicated to the execution and delivery of various programs, including Strategic Initiatives, New Product Introduction, Materials Management, and Continuous Improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define program and project requirements to align with Exro's strategic commercial and operational goals while addressing customer and partner needs.
- Collaborate with business units to build a compelling case for the program, securing commitment from department heads for resource allocation.
- Provide technical insights and status updates to support operations across sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Develop program timelines and work with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project schedules, escalating issues to management as necessary.
- Oversee program status and maintain communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on program objectives.
- Independently identify and resolve issues, employing creative problem-solving skills.
- Utilize professional relationships to support Product Management, working with various departments to achieve program objectives.
- Lead product development teams through established processes, including planning, design, development, validation, and production initiatives.
- Engage with customer and supplier teams to ensure successful collaboration, leading meetings and managing action items.
- Identify training opportunities and process awareness gaps for project team members.
- Adhere to current Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical project management role within a product-focused organization.
- Proven track record of successfully launching customer-facing hardware or software products.
- Ability to cultivate customer and external relationships in both technical and commercial contexts.
- Experience with software scrum management and Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment while effectively prioritizing across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards; IATF 16949 experience is advantageous.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience in the automotive or OEM sector is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
