Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Lead to join our outdoor adventure team at YMCA Calgary. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and a proven track record of leading and supervising teams in expedition-focused programs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily program for camp groups, making adjustments as needed due to weather, availability, and group situation
* Provide support and supervision to counsellors
* Support campers through behaviour management and parent/teacher contact
* Educate and encourage healthy behaviours in campers and staff, including measures to reduce illness and injury, risk management, outdoor and community living, and physical skills and literacy

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience working with children in outdoor-based programs
* Proven leadership and supervision skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
* Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
