Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

We're seeking a skilled and honest Service Technician to join our team at Traveland RV Canada. As a Service Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' recreational vehicles are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose issues with recreational vehicles
  • Collaborate with our shop foreman or service advisor to discuss repairs and provide estimates
  • Communicate additional service requests to our service advisor
  • Work closely with our shop foreman to plan and prioritize repairs
  • Provide accurate labor estimates to our service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update our service advisor accordingly
  • Maintain strict adherence to our dealership's policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete detailed documentation for client repairs
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees
  • Stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins and attend company and factory training
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations (such as hazardous waste disposal)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $25 - $40 hourly based on experience
