Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Senior Commercial Markets to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Commercial Financial Services group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of large commercial clients, providing proactive and customized business and financial advice to drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders and leveraging the full breadth of RBC's capabilities.
  • Work closely with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, demonstrating strong credit acumen and risk mitigation skills.
  • Foster internal and external strategic partnerships and centers of influence to meet business goals and focus on target market clients.
  • Ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business.
Requirements
  • University degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with strong financial analysis skills.
  • Minimum 35 years' commercial banking experience, with a proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with deep knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Experience and comfort with emerging technology, including video conferencing, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
