Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of the business incubator, working collaboratively with incubator tenants, clients, and stakeholders to provide a supportive and innovative environment for entrepreneurship and business growth.
  • Develop and implement programs and services to support the needs of incubator tenants and clients, including business development assistance, advisory services, and coaching.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business service providers, economic development entities, and the business community to promote the incubator and its services.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the business incubator center, including marketing, client recruitment, and budget management.
  • Work closely with the Navigate Advisory Board to ensure alignment with the university's strategic objectives and goals.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in entrepreneurship and business counselling, with a strong understanding of business management principles, budget formulation, and financial management.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business, with coursework towards or completion of a Master's degree considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, creative, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of constituents and organizations, including entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community stakeholders.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $63,099 - $86,042 (Management and Professional)
  • An upscale hiring step will apply to this position (Step 8)
