We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent of Schools to lead our district in providing high-quality education to our students.

About the Role

The Superintendent of Schools is the Chief Executive Officer of the District, responsible for the overall direction and management of the district's operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership and vision to ensure the district's goals and objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the district
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and governance requirements
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the Board of Education, community, and other partner groups
  • Leverage data to inform decision-making and ensure the overall fiscal health of the district
  • Develop and implement leadership development and succession planning initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in education
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with Indigenous partnerships and reconciliation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
