Legal Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Researcher to join our team at Davies Bagambiire Professional Corporation. As a Legal Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on various legal topics, preparing documentary evidence, and assisting lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and analysis on various legal topics, including administrative law, civil litigation, and immigration.
- Prepare documentary evidence in preparation for trial, including assembling and organizing documents, and conducting research on relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions, including drafting legal correspondence and preparing trial briefs.
- Represent clients internationally in consultation with foreign associates and attorneys, including drafting legal documents and preparing statements of legal opinion.
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems and scheduling court trials.
- Earned doctorate degree in law or a related field.
- 5 years or more of experience in legal research and analysis.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough and accurate research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a large caseload and tight deadlines. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
