Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management

Position Overview:

As a Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management at Equitable Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategies and overseeing third-party relationships. Your expertise will be essential in driving efficiency and compliance throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and articulate comprehensive category sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory and risk management frameworks.
  • Perform in-depth market analysis and engage with prospective suppliers to facilitate their registration on our procurement platform.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, leading procurement initiatives, negotiating agreements, and managing due diligence processes.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to meet organizational goals and enhance value delivery.
  • Oversee the development and management of contracts in partnership with business and technology teams.
  • Work closely with Risk, Legal, and Business stakeholders to finalize and negotiate contract terms effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to contract stipulations by engaging with Suppliers and Third Parties throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Provide expert guidance on procurement policies and assist in managing third-party risk and resolving issues.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices in procurement and third-party management to foster continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an organized contract pipeline and monitor key performance indicators for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract management.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and technology tools.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline; relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to drive value and revenue enhancement through strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in project management within a dynamic environment.
  • Thorough understanding of sourcing and procurement best practices.
