Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Operations and Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding workload.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment is preferred.
  • Work Setting
    • Food service establishment with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. We are a recognized employer and offer a competitive compensation package.
