About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Spray Paint Operator to join our team at Ultra Painting Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization
    • Ensure a clean and organized work area to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands.
  • Quality Control
    • Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers, or other devices to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Operational Tasks
    • Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal, and spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts.
    • Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.
    • Prepare and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative items on finished products.
    • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
    • Select appropriate paint or mix paints.
    • Tend automatic metal coating machines that convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions.
    • Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings.
    • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat.
    Requirements
    • Availability
      • Be available for shift or on-call work.
    • Language
      • Be proficient in English or French.
    • Work Environment
      • Be able to work in a dusty and noisy environment.
