Job Title: Industrial Painter

Marshall Land Systems Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal products, including aircraft and motor vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of coatings and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings.
  • Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers and other devices.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and control electroplating, hot-dip metal plating, and spray equipment to apply coatings.
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas and specifications.
  • Select and apply the appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve the desired finish.
  • Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings.
  • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat items with protective or decorative coatings.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as metal finishing or coatings.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
Personal Suitability:
