Job Title: Industrial Painter

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at Marshall Land Systems Canada Inc. as a key member of our coatings team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of metal products, including aircraft and motor vehicles. This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Organize and maintain inventory of coatings and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate coating application
  • Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers and other devices
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate electroplating, hot-dip metal plating, and spray equipment to apply coatings
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas and specifications
  • Select and apply the appropriate paint or mix paints as required
  • Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for coating application
  • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat metal products
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
