Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience through data, technology, and ongoing improvement. As a ServiceNow Analyst within the Human Resources department, your role will focus on optimizing the design, configuration, maintenance, and reporting functionalities of ServiceNow to meet HR needs.

Key Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Optimization (55%):

  • Develop and implement guidelines and best practices for maintaining the internal Knowledge Base across the ServiceNow platform to ensure a consistent and improved employee experience.
  • Collaborate with various departments (HR, Finance, IS, etc.) to align and communicate these guidelines effectively.
  • Establish audit processes to regularly review and update Knowledge Base articles for accuracy and relevance.
  • Act as the HR business lead for related projects, working closely with IS and project management teams to define project requirements.
  • Focus on enhancing the HR Knowledge Base's effectiveness by identifying trends and areas for improvement, implementing standard templates and guidelines.
  • Work with HR teams to ensure efficient operations and best practices in utilizing ServiceNow case management.

IS Support for ServiceNow (15%):

  • Engage with HR stakeholders to identify new requirements for ServiceNow and coordinate with the IS team for enhancements.
  • Lead HR support and testing for ServiceNow enhancements and releases pertinent to HR functions.
  • Conduct testing to ensure features meet HR requirements prior to implementation.
  • Serve as the liaison between HR and IS for ServiceNow enhancements.

Reporting and Analytics (25%):

  • Design and develop tailored ServiceNow reports and dashboards to meet HR needs.
  • Assist HR teams in extracting and analyzing data from ServiceNow for specific requests or analytical purposes.
  • Conduct data-driven research to evaluate the effectiveness of published content.
  • Continuously refine success metrics and their application.
  • Participate in special projects related to HR analytics, process improvements, or technology implementations as required.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree or diploma in a relevant field such as IT or HR is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a data administration and analysis role.
  • Proven application of usability principles to enhance the digital employee experience.
  • Familiarity with case management systems, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and HRIS systems, with Workday being advantageous.
  • Experience in report writing and database management.
  • Knowledge of structured project management, implementation, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to present and transfer knowledge effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and a diverse workload.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
