We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team at EllisDon. As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by managing and coordinating documents, drawings, and other project-related information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, catalogue, and distribute all consultant drawings, shop drawings, change notice summaries, submittals, and management software
  • Manage the project inbox to ensure all documents are filed properly
  • Manage and coordinate documents with each of the internal/external customers, as required
  • Track documents using BIM360, Autodesk, and Fieldwire

Requirements:

  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all staff levels within the office and remotely
  • Knowledge of project documentation and engineering terminology
  • Experience in various electronic drawing file formats
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with BIM360, Autodesk, Fieldwire, M365, and/or Sharepoint is an asset
